Horqueta Trail

It is a short-path which takes around 5 hours, and it is located around 2000 masl. This trail is adapted for really adventurist and nature lovers.  Also, we can find a biodiversity of plants, trees, beauty waterfall, and wildlife. In this trail, 2 endemic birds such as the Resplandecent Quetzal and Three Wattled Bellbird inhabit.

MIN/MAX: Minimum 2 people

LOCATION: Boquete’s cloud forest.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner to expert

FITNESS: Proper training no previous experience required. Hiking this trail, short sections of the trail are quite strenuous.

NOTE: During the rainy season, this trail can be quite slippery in places.

 WHAT TO BRING:

- Warm clothing, fleece and/or rainjacket

- Comfortable shoes for hiking (rainboots)

 - Sun block

 - Water bottle
