Hello, I’m Armando. I’m a Tourguide living in Province of Chiriqui, Panama. I am a fan of coffee, culture, and Nature. I’m also interested in outdoor adventures and camping. You can visit my social networks and join our hiking community.


How I started in this profession? It's a long history I've always said that I decided to do this by accident.

Since I was very young I loved adventures I still remember  in the back patio of my uncle's house there was a small forest and always with my friends and cousins ​​we escaped to explore and collect fruits such as rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum),  Jobo (Spondias purpurea) and star fruit (Averrhoa carambola).

I also traveled to Beijing, China with a scholarship from MINISTRY OF COMMERCE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA to obtain a certificate about  Poverty Reduction through Ecological Development and Tourism for Developing countries. (In BEIJING , CHINA)

Parque Nacional Volcán Baru

I decided to train as a guide and I got some certifications such as: the CIG Interpretative Guide for the NAI and certification for guides specialized in Protected Areas by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism Authority of Panama.




All of this began in 2008, then 10 years are already in this profession and I consider that it is the most beautiful in the world because I can teach and interpret the history, culture and natural beauty of my country.
